Bruce L. Moon is a singer-songwriter, painter, and performance artist with 37 albums on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and other streaming platforms and more than 400 YouTube videos. He performs regularly at house concerts, colleges and universities, and small concert venues. In the last year he has performed at Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA, The Fiddler’s Dream, Phoenix, AZ, Cousin Andy’s Coffeehouse in Carbondale, IL, The Copper Fiddle, Lake Zurich, IL, Feeding the Bard, Ithaca, NY, Ursuline University House Concert, Brook Park, OH., Times Past Inn, Bloomington, IL. Connie Link Amphitheater, Normal IL, and The Jenks in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Bruce believes that good music ought to comfort people who have been afflicted in the world and afflict people who are too comfortable. As one recent concertgoer said, "Bruce's songs and stories make me laugh, let me cry, and push me to think about my life."

Bruce holds a PhD in creative arts and two master’s degrees, and he worked for 22 years at a private psychiatric hospital and 20 years as a college professor. In the folk/Americana genre, his songs are frequently inspired by encounters with people who have been marginalized or disenfranchised in society. They often comment on current issues in the world while holding a subtle, soulful, quality. Bruce is also the lead singer for Bruce Moon & The Amplifiers. They are currently working on a new CD tentatively titled, Malcontents and Mutineers that will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and other streaming platforms in 2026. His bandmates include Justin Tirone on lead guitar, violin, and keyboards; Brian Rejack on bass and trombone; and percussionist, Ben Wyman. They adhere to the slogan, “All original, all the time.”
